Melissa Caballero
Is a mama, creative soul, trauma-informed yoga teacher, and community folk herbalist. Her work centers BIPOC wombyn, mamas, caregivers, and healers, weaving somatic practice, plant medicine, and ancestral remembering to support personal and collective care.
She approaches herbalism as a relationship—working with plants as teachers and allies, and as a way to reconnect with intuition, ancestral wisdom, and the inner child through play.
Her offerings invite a slow coming home to the body.
She loves leading trauma-informed yoga classes, hands-on herbal workshops, and tea meditations. She creates spaces for play, presence, and community connection.

Nuestra Historia
Our Story
Te Cuidas is a way of living, a vision, and a community in the making. Our dream is simple: to create spaces where family, friends, and neighbors can rest, connect, and feel at home. Including a Retreat center in the mountains of Jalisco, with lodging, gardens, and plenty of room to grow together.
For the past three years, Santiago, the kids, and I have been laying the groundwork—learning what it means to build with intention, to collaborate, and to practice what collective effort truly feels like. Now, we’re ready to open this work to all of you: to gather people with like-minded ideas, energy, and hearts who want to help shape this vision.
By supporting this project—
through following our journey, sharing it, or contributing—you’re helping us focus our energy locally, building something that will benefit everyone who comes here. This is about more than a space; it’s about creating a future together, one step at a time.
